About SuperSwitcher

SuperSwitcher.co.uk helps consumers to effortlessly switch utility suppliers on a regular basis - for free. In this way, SuperSwitcher supports healthy competition in the UK utility markets.

SuperSwitcher is an internet-based software that enables consumers to easily access the most proven tariff comparison sites. For each product category, e.g. power and gas, the SuperSwitcher team chooses the best comparison site to work with, based on the amount of tariff data offered, accuracy and reliability. This saves consumers the hassle of having to research across different comparison sites and databases. The partner sites’ databases then help quickly identify the best available tariffs based on the user’s individual needs.

Because users are able to store relevant data safely and confidentially in SuperSwitcher’s account management tool, users save valuable time when repeatedly comparing tariffs: once users have stored their data, they can carry out a new comparison with just a single 'click'.

Most importantly, SuperSwitcher is the first UK comparison site to offer personal alerts: SuperSwitcher constantly monitors all UK power and gas tariffs on its users' behalf. When a better deal becomes available that matches a user's personal preferences, including how much they would like to save, SuperSwitcher notifies the user by email.

All too often, consumers forget to check up on available tariffs, causing them to miss out on potential savings; with SuperSwitcher, they can rest safe in the knowledge that they are always up to date.

The SuperSwitcher account management tool is free, and registration only takes a few seconds. Users can manage their accounts both through the SuperSwitcher website, and through the SuperSwitcher Facebook application using the same log-in details.

Facebook users can also use their Facebook log-in to create and access accounts particularly quickly, using SuperSwitchers "Connect with Facebook" feature. This also helps users share their good news with friends and family!

The Founders

Siblings Anna and Fred Rojahn founded SuperSwitcher GmbH is April 2008. Both were tired of permanently suffering from a bad conscience: “on the one hand, I knew perfectly well that I could save a lot of money by regularly switching suppliers; on the other, repeatedly comparing prices just seemed too much of a hassle”, Anna observes.

Fred adds: “like many people, we felt that staying on top of price changes was just too much of a hassle. As a result, consumers like us were missing out on hundred of Pounds of savings each year. Since no one else seemed to be tackling the issue, we decided to have a go ourselves. With the SuperSwitcher, we want to make it as easy as possible for consumers to save money on utility bills. Basically, we created the software we always wanted ourselves."

Fred is a former management consultant, holds an INSEAD MBA, and recently led the UK Strategy team of power and gas supplier E.ON. Fred is now applying his indepth understanding of the utility industry to help consumers get the best deals.
Anna is a former product manager with extensive experience in developing new products and services. Both are dedicating their joint professional experience to making it as easy as possible for consumers to keep saving money on utility bills.
