The Founders
SuperSwitcher was founded in April 2008 by siblings Anna and Fred Rojahn. Both were tired of constantly suffering from a bad conscience: “on the one hand, I knew that I could save a lot of money by regularly switching suppliers. On the other hand, it just felt like too much of a hassle”, says Anna, a former product manager.
Fred, an energy expert, adds: "like many others, we felt that the effort involved in regularly comparing tariffs and switching suppliers was just too great. Consumers like us were missing out on hundreds of Pounds of savings each year. With the SuperSwitcher, we wanted to make it as easy as possible to get the best deals.”
Fred is a former strategy consultant, and until recently led the UK Strategy team of E.ON, the international power and gas supplier. Anna is a marketing specialist with extensive experience in developing new products and services. Their mission is to make saving money on utility bills as painless as possible.
